Where's Waldo? In Sonoma, of course. He's turning twenty-five this year and to
celebrate he will be hiding out in twenty different local businesses
during the month of July. Those who spot him can win prizes-buttons,
books and more. We have the names of all the local places who are
sheltering Waldo. (Hint: he's right out in the open; all you need to do
is look.) Come in to Readers' and we'll explain how it works. This will
be the best scavenger hunt you've ever been on.
Start: 7:30 pm
There
are facts and dates and histories, but in the end the way we really
understand the world is through stories. How we lived and coped with
trials and tragedies, how we fell in love and worked our way through the
pain of love and loss. This memoir by Colette Gauthier Myles, who was
born near Paris in 1935, lived through the war and came to America in
her twenties, touches all these areas and more.

Welcome to READERS' BOOKS, Sonoma's literary gathering place where you'll find good books, good talk, lots of events, and opinions, jokes, and music in abundance.
Located in the town of SONOMA in the heart of California's lovely and historic WINE COUNTRY, we are a general bookstore with a particular focus on contemporary fiction, poetry, children's literature, food, wine and religion. We carry both new and used books and host several author events each week.
We are located one-half block off the Sonoma Plaza on the southeast side.
